John Unitas had an incredibly successful career, full of remarkable achievements and highlights. He led the Colts to 3 championships (’58, ’59, and ’70) and the MVP of the ’59 championship game. He was league MVP 3 times (’59, ’64 and ’67). He set numerous passing records, including most consecutive games with a touchdown pass (47), most touchdown passes in a season (32), and most career touchdown passes (290). Unitas was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1979 and was named a member of the NFL’s All-Time Team as a testament to his enduring legacy and impact.
