Prior to entering the NFL, Peyton Manning had an exceptional collegiate career as the quarterback for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, where he played from 1994 to 1997. His college career was marked by numerous accomplishments and records. Manning set multiple passing records during his tenure at Tennessee. He finished his career as the school's all-time leader in passing yards, completions, and touchdown passes. He also received several prestigious awards and accolades. He was a consensus All-American in 1997 and earned the Maxwell Award (Best College Player) and the Davey O'Brien Award (Best College Quarterback) in the same year.
