1977 Jim Zorn #65 ROOKIE CARD

$25.00

SGC 5: #2535798 - Excellent

Jim Zorn's career in the NFL spanned from 1976 to 1987, and he was the starting quarterback for the Seahawks during their early years in the league. He was named to the Pro Bowl in his rookie season and had several productive seasons throughout his career. Zorn was known for his athleticism, strong arm, and ability to extend plays with his mobility. He was a quarterback who possessed a unique combination of skills and played with a fearless and competitive mindset. This led to an improvisational style of play. He had the ability to make plays happen even when the original play broke down, often using his mobility to escape pressure and make throws on the run. Having Steve Largent as your #1 receiver didn’t hurt. While he didn't possess the prototypical size or arm strength of some of his contemporaries, Zorn made up for it with his accuracy, touch, and ability to make precise throws. He had a good understanding of the game, reading defenses well and making smart decisions with the football. While he may not have achieved the same level of recognition as some of the all-time great quarterbacks, his unique style of play and contributions to the Seahawks franchise have earned him a place in their history and the respect of fans.
