Beautiful Hall of Famer ROOKIE card!

Ted Hendricks had a highly successful collegiate career at the University of Miami, where he played football from 1966 to 1968. Hendricks was a dominant force on the defensive side of the ball. Standing at 6'7" and possessing exceptional athleticism, he wreaked havoc on opposing offenses. Hendricks' combination of size, speed, and agility made him a disruptive presence as both a pass rusher and a run stopper. He consistently performed at a high level , showcasing his versatility by playing multiple positions on the defensive line, linebacker, and even earned some time on the field as a tight end. His ability to make impact plays, such as sacks and tackles for loss, was a testament to his skill set and understanding of the game. In 1967, the team achieved an 8-2 record and earned a berth in the Liberty Bowl, marking their first bowl appearance in 12 years. In his senior year, he was named a consensus All-American and received the Lombardi Award, which is given to the best lineman or linebacker in college football. These honors further solidified his reputation as one of the top defensive players in the country and forecasted the Hall of Fame career awaiting him in the NFL.
